Free website audit

I’ll review your website for free, even if we never work together.

Send me your URL. I’ll go through it properly: speed, mobile, search visibility, and the things quietly costing you customers, then tell you plainly what I’d fix first and how much of it you could do yourself.

What you get back

Specific and useful, not a generated PDF.

You’ve probably had the automated kind before: forty pages of red warnings from a tool, none of which tell you what to actually do. This isn’t that. It’s me, looking at your site, writing you a straight answer.

01

How fast it really is

Measured on a phone on cell service, not a fast laptop on office wifi. Load time, what’s slowing it down, and whether it’s bad enough to be costing you rankings.

02

What the mobile experience is like

Where a thumb gets stuck, what’s unreadable, what’s hidden, and how many taps it takes to do the one thing you want visitors to do.

03

Whether Google can find you

Titles, metadata, structure, your Google Business Profile, and which search terms you’re realistically in the running for versus which ones you’re nowhere near.

04

Where you’re losing people

The gap between someone landing on your site and someone contacting you. Usually it’s something small and fixable that nobody has pointed out.

05

A few things to fix yourself

Genuinely free tips you can action this week without hiring anybody. Some of them take ten minutes and make a real difference.

06

An honest next step

What I’d actually do in your position, which might be a rebuild, might be a few fixes, and might be leaving it alone and spending the money elsewhere.

The catch

There isn’t one. Here’s why.

I’m one person, not an agency with a sales team and a quota. I’d rather spend an hour being useful to ten people and work with the two who are a genuine fit, than pressure all ten into something they regret.

If you’re not a good fit for me, I’ll say so, and I’ll still point you at whatever is actually right for you.

That’s not a marketing line. Sometimes the honest answer is that a Squarespace site and a good afternoon of writing will serve you better than anything I’d charge you for. When that’s true, I’ll tell you, and I’ll tell you how to do it well.

When I’ll tell you not to hire me

  • Your current site is genuinely fine and the problem is somewhere else in the business.
  • What you need is a few hours of fixes, not a rebuild. I’ll tell you what they are.
  • Your budget is better spent on ads, photography or staff right now than on a new website.
  • You need something outside what I do well, in which case I’ll point you toward someone who does.
  • The timeline you need isn’t one I can hit properly. I’d rather lose the job than rush it.

How it works

Three steps, and none of them are a sales call.

  1. You send the link

Your website URL and a sentence about what you wish it did better. That’s the whole ask, no discovery questionnaire.

  2. I actually look at it

Usually within a day or two. Real testing on a real phone, not a tool spitting out a score.

  3. You get a straight answer

Written plainly, in your inbox. Read it, use it, ignore it, or hand it to whoever built your site. No follow-up sequence.

FAQ

Fair questions about a free offer.

Yes. No card, no trial, no “free audit” that turns out to be a sales call with a slide deck. You send a URL, I send back a written answer.

I do it because it’s the most honest way I know to show what I’d be like to work with, and because being useful to people who never hire me has worked out fine so far.

Then you’ll get a useful list and zero judgment. Almost every site I look at has the same handful of fixable problems, and most of them were nobody’s fault.

I’m not going to send you a document designed to make you feel bad so you’ll hire me.

Only if a rebuild is genuinely the right answer, and I’ll explain why. If the honest recommendation is “fix these four things and leave the rest alone”, that’s what you’ll get.

I’d rather have a good reputation in a small city than one extra project.

Usually one to two business days. If I’m mid-launch on something it might be a little longer, and I’ll tell you rather than leaving you wondering.

Yes. Send me your Google Business Profile, your Instagram, or just describe the business. I’ll tell you what I’d build first, what you genuinely need on day one, and what can wait.

Plenty of businesses need a good Google listing and one solid page far more than they need a ten-page website.

That’s completely fine. Take the audit to them. A second set of eyes costs you nothing and a good developer will welcome specifics.

I’m not going to try to poach you mid-project.

Free audit

Send me your site.

No cost, no obligation, and no drip campaign afterwards. Just an honest read on where you stand and what I’d do about it.

TurnaroundUsually one to two business days

One honest reply from a person. That’s the entire follow-up.
